Regrets by Ananya Chatterjee

Regrets

Only if we went on high—
Never stopping by...

Only if we waited for a while,
To count our blessings, and smile...

Only if we stopped forever,
Before the tide turned over...

Our regrets build anew:
Each moment passes through.
Half-filled cups of brew—

Life waits for few.
