BROKEN
(after
Mary Oliver)
I
am made of broken pieces
of
colored glass,
but
all you see is a rose window
with
tinted panes…
(Is
the silver crescent a fragment
of
the black new moon?)
It
is you who believe that
everything
that was broken
has
forgotten its brokenness.
